Below, I have listed the answers to the most Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs) I get from patients just like you!

If I order through Abby, am I REALLY ordering through my doctor?

Absolutely yes! As a virtual assistant, when you place an order through me at helloabby.com, you are ordering through your local doctor’s office.

I exist solely to help doctors and their teams service patients like you!

Your local doctor receives full credit for your order.

Just like you, we believe in supporting local business and keeping your relationship with your doctor at the center of your eye health.

I’d like to order on helloabby.com, how do I do that?

Before you can place any order, your doctor’s office needs to be a registered practice on helloabby.com.

I would start with reaching out to your eye doctor to ask if they have a way you can order online through a virtual assistant like Abby.

I would love to join their team.

My doctor is a registered practice on helloabby.com, How do I log into Abby?

Once your doctor registers your prescription on helloabby.com, you will receive an email from me, Abby, to complete your profile. Basically, you just need to set your password 😊.

If you didn’t receive an email to complete your profile, please either reach out to your eye doctor to resend the invite or contact our Abby Customer Success Team utilizing our chat feature for assistance.

I have very special eyes; do you carry all contact lens products?

Abby carries all contact lenses from every major contact lens manufacturer.

In a nutshell, if it goes on your eye, we have it. If you are prescribed custom made to order lenses, please reach out to your eye doctor. They can order those lenses for you.

Does Abby really offer free shipping on all my orders?
Yes, Abby offers free standard shipping on all purchases — with no minimum box requirement. Shipping upgrades are also available, at a cost, for faster delivery!
 
How are the orders shipped?

All orders, regardless of the number of boxes ordered, receive free shipping.

Patients and your practice can upgrade shipping at an additional cost.

All orders are shipped via UPS Mail Innovations with a tracking number for easy reference.

Can I get tracking information for my package?

You receive instantaneous updates on the status of your order and tracking information directly on your helloabby.com account in the order history section of your dashboard.

You can also elect to receive tracking information on your order sent to you via email or SMS. You must first Opt in to receive messages.

What shipping method is available at helloabby.com?

All orders, regardless of the number of boxes you order, receive free USPS, Mail Innovations shipping.

You can upgrade shipping at an additional cost.

How do I place an order on helloabby.com?

Placing an order is as easy as 1, 2, 3. Select your prescription, enter the number of boxes, payment and shipping information and hit submit! That’s it!

I used the wrong credit card to place my order. How can I fix that?

No worries! Please utilize our handy dandy chat feature for assistance.

How do I save my credit card to my Abby Profile?
  1. First, click on your profile and hit manage account.
  2.  If there is already a credit card on your patient profile, and you want to "add" another card, click "Use a different" card, and a new window will open up for you to enter your new credit card information.
  3.  See success screen to show the new credit cards has been added.
  4. You can easily switch or choose your preferred credit card when placing future contact lens orders and reorders.

Please know that Abby does NOT store your actual credit card. The Card info goes through a secure validation process via Cyber Source, which provides a token, storing the last 4 digits of your credit card.

Can I cancel my order?

Yes, of course. Please utilize our handy dandy chat feature for assistance on order cancellation or returns.

What does “easy returns” mean?
We’re glad you asked! All orders through helloabby.com are covered by our 365 day returns program.
 
You have a full year to return product, no questions asked, as long as all the lenses and original packing slip are in the box.
 
How do I check the status of my order?

All the information you need to check the status of your order can be easily seen on your Abby homepage.

For up to date information about your order, sign up to receive SMS/Text alerts.

If you need to reach out to an Abby customer success team representative, you can utilize our chat feature for assistance.

Can I edit my email address?

You sure can! Just log in to your helloabby.com account and edit your preferred email.

How do I log into my account?

You can log into to your account by entering your email address and password at helloabby.com.

If you are not registered but have been sent an invitation, you can use the 'forgot password' to complete registration by changing your password.

If you didn't receive an invitation, please contact your optical practice to send you an invitation.

How do I recover my password?

Not a problem! Recovering your password is easy! Go to the helloabby.com homepage and select 'forgot password' link to submit a change password request.

If the email address you entered is linked to an active profile, an email will be sent with an expiring link to easily reset your password.

Are product rebates available on Abby?

Orders placed on helloabby.com qualify for manufacturer rebates.

We are currently working with various manufacturers to make it easier for you to submit your rebates on helloabby.com.

For now, you will need to continue to obtain those valuable rebates through your doctor’s office.

When is my credit card charged?

When you place your order, we ask your credit card for an authorization hold to cover the balance.

We only charge your credit card once your order ships from our facility and is heading your way.

Is it safe to use my credit card on the site?

Yes! When you shop on HelloAbby.com you are in safe and secure hands. For more details please check our Privacy Policy.

I didn't get a forget password email

Ugh, hate when that happens! Please check to see if the email went to your junk, spam, or bulk mail folder.

To ensure future emails will always make it to your inbox, please add helloabby-no-reply@helloabby.com to your "Safe Senders" or "Trusted Sites" list.

If still unable to locate, please reach out to an Abby Customer Success Team Member utilizing our chat feature for assistance.

I moved, how can I change my address?

Congratulations on your new home! You can make changes to your address by logging into helloabby.com and selecting "Manage Account" menu option.

Click the 'edit' link next to Personal Information section where you can review and edit your personal information including your address.

Can I receive text messages and alerts from Abby?

Yes, Abby offers 2 types of text alerts:

1. Order Status (updates)
2. Reorder Reminders

New Patients must first 'opt-in' to receive text messages. When you are registering for the first time, and after creating your password, you will be presented with a NEW notification screen where you can turn on Text Notifications for either or both types of alerts.

Existing Abby Patients must also 'opt-in' to receive text messages. 

  1. Go to your profile and go to the 'Manage Account' tab.
  2. When you are in your profile, add your mobile # and click the button to 'opt-in' to "Order Status" and/or "Reorder Reminders".

If at any time you no longer wish to receive text messages, merely need to reply "Stop" to the text.

You can also go back into your profile and "unclick" the Order Status button to stop receiving order status updates via text.

Does Abby take my FSA/HSA benefits?

Unfortunately, Abby doesn't currently take FSA or HSA benefits. Don't worry, this is on our radar to provide on helloabby.com sometime in 2023!

Does Abby allow for me to pay with Apple Pay/Google Pay/ Pay Pal?

Unfortunately, Abby doesn't currently allow alternative payment methods. Don't worry, this is on our radar to provide on helloabby.com sometime in 2023!

How do I leave Abby if I want to unsubscribe?

To quote KC & The Sunshine Band.. "Please don't go…I'm beggin you to stay" but seriously, if you change eye doctors or all of sudden have perfect 20/20 vision, no worries we can archive your account.

I think my contact lenses are lost in transit, what do I do?

If your order gets lost in the mail or enters into a portal to the Upside Down, just give our customer success team a call.

We will be happy to track and send out a replacement order.

I ordered 2 boxes and only received 1. How can I get my other box that I didn't receive?

Oh no! I'm sorry that the incorrect quantity was sent to you. We will fix that mistake immediately.
