Alcon Vision, LLC's Minimum Advertised Price Policy for United States

Alcon Vision, LLC (“Alcon”) is excited for the forthcoming launch of its unilateral Minimum Advertised Price Policy for the United States (“MAP Policy”), which will be effective April 1, 2026 on OTC products. The MAP Policy applies to all authorized sellers advertising to end-user consumers in the United States.

Update on Alcon Backordered Contact Lens Products

Alcon has been experiencing extended lead times on certain backordered contact lens products. We understand how frustrating this can be for you and your patients, and we want you to know that ABB Optical Group continues to actively engage with Alcon’s internal teams to advocate for clearer timelines and more comprehensive updates.

While Alcon does not have a single, product-specific explanation for each delay, they have shared the following high-level factors contributing to the extended recovery times:

• Demand was higher than expected, which reduced available inventory.
• Some products take longer to manufacture, and lower production output has led to additional backorders.

We remain committed to keeping you informed and will share additional updates as soon as more detailed information becomes available.

Menicon’s current inventory of Miru 1 Month Dx products do not meet ABB's expiration date standards.  As a result, we will stop accepting orders for all Miru 1 Month diagnostics and revenue.
